Compliance and documentation of training
Everyday challenges
Many industries are subject to compliance and certification requirements relating to job-training and skill management. One solution is having the right tools to manage training requirements and conduct documented training.
Three of these tools are:
- Role-based management of training requirements
- Training in case of process changes
- Documentation of completed training

Documentation of completed training
Champ ensures that employees have planned and documented training programs.
Role-based management of training requirements

The platform allows users to manage which training requirements are related to specific job functions as well as requirements for the retraining frequency and for documentation of completion. Training modules can be reused across multiple job functions. In practice, this means that once an employee has been trained in job function A, the employee may have completed 30% in job function B, which has overlapping training requirements.
Training in case of process changes

When new processes are introduced or existing ones are changed, a training need arises for employees who were previously fully trained. The platform keeps track of the training elements in which the employees are trained and which version. This means that managers, trainers and employees always have an insight and overview of those areas where training is necessary - based on the current training requirements for the relevant job functions.
Documentation of job-training

The platform connects training requirements to the individual employee via roles. When training elements are completed for an employee, the platform automatically saves information about persons who completed training, which version of training material was used, and when. The documentation requirement can be extended for selected items to require signatures and/or multi-party approval. The training history can be found through an inquiry on the employee, role, training element or department.

Documentation of completed training
"It allowed us to provide a uniform training experience - both the trainer and the person to be trained can see the training plan they are going to follow. And a direct link to the skill matrix that shows us who can do what and when can they do it – when will they have completed training and how can we move our employees around.”
