Access to training tasks and materials
The TWI trainer has direct access to training tasks, job breakdown sheets and other training material. The training tasks are available both in personal task lists and as part of the overall training programs in which they are included. It is possible to link to relevant documents or to load the training material directly into the platform in the form of text, documents and video.
Skill management and initiation of job-training programs
Training an employee for a job function is often a mixture of TWI training and other shopfloor training. A role matrix provides the department manager with a overview of which employees can handle which job functions, and where is there a need to initiate new training programs to achieve the goals. The platform manages which TWI trainings (and other training elements) are relevant to the individual employee in each role.
Overview of status and progress
One of the difficult disciplines in a TWI setup is to ensure a consistent completion of the individual TWI trainings and of the overall job-training programs in which they are included. The platform provides access to task lists with all the TWI trainings (and other training elements) of the organisation, to the responsible trainers and to the status of the tasks. It also provides access to a timeline that presents ongoing training programs and their progress.
